Arcachon is a commune in south-west France, in the Gironde region. It's the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors, with its many hiking trails, cycle paths and water sports facilities. You can spend the day sunbathing on the beach, strolling along the harbor or taking a boat out to Île aux Oiseaux. La Ville d'Hiver is a district where you can discover eccentric and original architecture, mosaics, Gothic mansions and exotic gardens. You can also discover the famous Dune du Pilat, 110 meters high, offering an incredible panorama of the Bay of Arcachon, the forest and the Cap Ferret lighthouse.
