Emplacement

The town of Cachan is characterized above all by the imposing bridge of the Médicis and Vanne aqueducts that crosses the commune. The Médicis aqueduct was built between 1613 and 1623 under the direction of Marie de Médicis, who wanted to bring water to her Palais du Luxembourg in Paris.
