You will admire to start the medieval ramparts, among the best preserved of Brittany, which give rise to a charming walk by the Garenne, a path that runs along them, punctuated with gardens and pretty wash houses. After discovering the port, with its tree-lined quays including the Quai de la Rabine, take the 17th century Porte Saint-Vincent, which connects the port and the historic district: you enter the old town through a street lined with old buildings, mansions and half-timbered houses.
