Strasbourg, labeled City of Art and History, is an essential stop when you travel through Alsace. Its old town, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is internationally famous for its exceptional architectural, historical and cultural heritage. The traces of its medieval past and its Renaissance era are deeply rooted in its genes.

Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Great Island, surrounded by the Ill River, is home to the heart of the city center. Along the pedestrian streets, all more picturesque than each other, the visitor can only be enthralled by the perfection of the built heritage. With its canals, banks, cobbled streets and half-timbered houses, the Petite France is one of the most romantic neighborhoods of the Grande Île. It was once the district of tanners, millers and fishermen. Built in 1572 at the edge of the water, the Maison des Tanneurs, now a restaurant, is a beautiful example of the harmony of the place.
